DataFlower: Innovative SAP Data Management |
What is DataFlower? DataFlower software is a powerful interface between SAP systems and an external database. DataFlower works with dozens of different and dynamic information schemata such as suppliers, clients and financial transactions. These information schemata can be loaded into DataFlower in order to get the data in the external database on a continuous basis. When the information in the SAP changes it also changes in the database, and the changes are automatically registered in special tables. DataFlower Features
What makes DataFlower so special? Thousands of interfaces and the cumulative experience of decades in designing interfaces and interface platforms made it possible for us to design a generic platform that can incorporate different information schemata. The DataFlower advantage is in the reliability of data transfer and its dynamic characteristics. DataFlower has a structural mechanism for activation of the interface in case of error, documentation of changes in the data, a user-friendly interface for editing information schemata and an information-monitoring module for tracking exceptions in data passed by the interface. Additionally, DataFlower is simple to operate. Data Monitoring with DataFlower After the information schemata are loaded into DataFlower, the monitoring module can be used to track exceptions. Minimum and maximum permitted limits can be specified for designated fields in a simple and intuitive way. When the value transmitted to these fields exceeds the minimum or maximum permitted values specified, DataFlower will alert the interface manager about the exception by an immediate e-mail or a desktop pop-up notification. Alternatively, rather than setting fixed minimum and maximum values, limits can be set as percent deviations from average values. Sample DataFlower Applications
